We are launching a first stage of public consultation on 14 February and will conclude on 22 March 2019. This is to present the project to local communities and stakeholders and discuss the key issues that are important to them.
Stage one consultation events are being held at Barton Stacey Village Hall on 25 February 2019 between 4pm and 8pm and Longparish Village Hall on 28 February 2019 between 12pm and 4pm.
A second stage of consultation is expected later this year. This will present the project in more detail and is a formal requirement of the DCO process.
The A303 Enviropark site is owned and operated by Raymond Brown and is a recognised strategic centre of excellence for integrated waste management in the region. The site includes a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) that recovers recyclable resources from construction waste, alongside a highly specialist Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) processing plant operated by Fortis. The A303 Enviropark is already committed to excellent standards of environmental performance and we will ensure that the proposed waste-to-energy facility maintains these standards.
